The H3 Hyrbids from EPOS are an upgrade to the H3 model which retail for about £90 and are industry leading gaming headphones.The H3 Hybrids are a new addition at a price point of £150 or thereabouts. EPOS make some beautiful gaming accessories including the best gaming/USB mic around so I was interested in the H3 Hybrids as their main attraction is their Bluetooth connectivity.The box is well padded and the phones can be stored in their safely. Out of the box the headphones come with an attached microphone arm on the left and a volume toggle on the right. They are very easy to pair with your Bluetooth device and the long, nylon cable connects easily via the usual small headphone jack.So - the how are they? The sound is SUPERB - no real difference between wired and Bluetooth. Beautiful quality all round. Rich bass, clear trebles and crisp mid-tones make them a joy to use. Music or gaming, both are fabulous and blew me away.They are a bit of funny shape and are not that comfortable if I'm honest. Wearing for a few minutes and I felt them - I shouldn't really feel them but I did - ears sweaty and a bit squashed into the headset so I am afraid that's a game changer for me. I have been using the Soundcore cans by Anker until now. They are SO comfortable and the sound quality is similar. The EPOS does come with a microphone arm which definitely enhances the quality of sound during gaming and calls. This is removable and it comes with a cover so, if you remove the arm, it looks nice again (see photos).I have tried this with the Xbox and PC for gaming, YouTube and also paired to my phone for music and calls. The sound is excellent all round. I would suggest trying them on for size before committing as they are VERY expensive, high end gaming headphones and I am sure you don't want comfort issues. If they fit, and you're in the market for high enders and they're in budget, provided you're happy with the fit, I don't think you can do much better.

I was a little unsure about these at first, just because they seem so simple, but I've been very pleasantly surprised.
First off, the sound quality is insane, handling both highs and lows with great clarity and no washout, even at high volumes they don't distort. I can get a good amount of bass with rock and metal music too: generally they haven't failed to perform in any situation!
The depth you get in-game is very immersive, with ambience and gunshots crisp with great variable volume. They aren't marketed as noise-cancelling but you can barely hear any background noise with these on! The mic too is crystal clear without having to have it too close to your mouth.
The headphones fit really snugly on. The earpads are so comfortable and the tightness is perfect: they have adjustable arms for different head sizes and they're comfy for both my small head and my partner's medium head.
The controls are really straightforward, without too much functionality to complicate anything: just a plain and simple volume dial, power and Bluetooth buttons. You can connect them with aux or BT to two devices which is really useful if you're gaming and chatting on another platform, and I had no issues with connectivity at all.
The only issue that I had is that there doesn't seem to be any Android support for the software so I couldn't get it on my chromebook. But the headphones work without it so it's not a big deal, and I can get it on my Windows 10 machine.
Overall, I can honestly say this is a really good piece of kit, with awesome audio quality and generally it's a pleasure to use and sounds great. And the ear pieces are the most comfortable ones I've ever used in a set of headphones; given the value of them, you'd expect good quality, and I'd say they are worth it for the excellent sound experience.
Highly recommended for gamers and audio snobs, and music fanatics alike.

My partner and I love gaming, and we have a baby now so we need the noise to all be contained, and every now and then my partner has time to play online and needed a new headset. I've never heard of this brand before but these are amazing.Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 October 2021
