Snowdown, League of Legends wintertime event is back and it's bringing a lot of old friends (as well as some new ones). Here are images of all of the Snowdown skins you'll have access to this winter season, as well as some updates on other features that will change during Snowdown.
Snow Bunny Nidalee
For those who haven't played her, Nidalee is a ranged assassin known as the Bestial Hunter. Snow Bunny Nidalee is a former Snowdown skin that is making its return this season.
Snow Day Singed
Singed, one of the more fascinating League of Legends tanks, is getting his own Snowdown skin this year called Snow Day Singed. The above video shows off the differences to his poison trail, etc as well as the in game skin.
Workshop Nunu
Nunu the Yeti Rider is also re-upping his former Snowdown skin with Workshop Nunu. Nunu is a support or fighting character.
Happy Elf Teemo
Teemo is, by far, the cutest character in League of Legends and this skin is no exception.
Earnest Elf Tristana
Tristana, the Megling Gunner, is a marksman assassin champion. Maybe you can use her in the Snowdown Showdown?
Old Saint Zilean
A time bomb of a mage, Zilean's limited edition Snowdown skin helps ring in the season.
Re-Gifted Amumu
The saddest mummy, Amumu is a tank class champion in League of Legends.
If you're up for it, this Snowdown will feature a showdown in a featured game mode on Howling Abyss.
Santa Gragas
Gragas is a Rabble Rouser, a mage fighter champion in League of Legends.
Reindeer Kog'Maw
The dear, sweet Mouth of the Abyss that is Kog'Maw (making him the cutest, most disgusting champion ever) will have a re-release of his previous Snowdown skin.
However, if you're hoping to run him down the Frozen River on a winter Summoners Rift map, think again. Word is that Riot will not be releasing a patch for the Rift map to make it more winter-y.
Candy Cane Miss Fortune
Miss Fortune is probably one of the less subtle League of Legends champs, but this marksman bounty hunter will surely be making a splash at the 1v1 option in Snowdown Showdown.
Ragdoll Poppy
For those who play the Iron Ambassador, this Raggedy Ann inspired Poppy skin will be the perfect holiday addition.
Snowstorm Sivir
The Battle Mistress Sivir will also be receiving a Snowdown skin this year, known as Snowstorm Sivir. There will also be a new addition to the ward skin line-up.
Nutcracko
The Demon Jester, Shako will be receiving a re-release of his former Snowdown skin Nutcracko.
Silent Night Sona
This re-release of Sona features the support mage as an almost Dickensian caroler. The Maven of the Strings would be a welcome addition if you decided to play in the Snowdown Showdown.
Festive Maokai
Summoners who are a fan of this Ent-like tank champion will be able to snag his limited edition Snowdown skin this season.
Bad Santa Veigar
Be your own tiny master of evil with this re-released Snowdown skin for LoL champ Veigar.
Mistletoe LeBlanc
LeBlanc will also be receiving a re-up of her limited edition Snowdown skin.
Snow Day Ziggs
This manic Hexplosives expert will also be receiving a re-edition of his Limited Edition winter skin.
Snowdown will also feature a surprise in mystery gifting and new icon rewards for Summoners to earn.
Dark Candy Fiddlesticks
This deranged scarecrow mage has a purchasable skin for the Christmas season that makes him look like the Freddy Krueger of candy land.
Toy Soldier Gangplank
This Limited Edition skin for Gangplank will be available for purchase during the Snowdown winter event.
Snowmerdinger
With what might be the best name of any of the holiday skins, Heimerdinger the Mad Inventor is sure to power through any Snowdown Showdowns (except for All for One where he seems to be inevitably banned).
Slay Belle Katarina
Katarina, the Sinister Blade, is the last of the League of Legends champs to receive a re-release of their Christmas themed skin. Be sure to pick up the skins in the Riot store once the Snowdown event starts. When Snowdown concludes, these skins go back in the vault.
Winter Wonder Lulu
Winter Wonder Lulu is the last of the new Snowdown skins to be released this season.
Snowdown will feature a couple of other features other than new skins. It will also have a Snowdown Showdown featured game mode on the Howling Abyss map. You can have 1v1 and 2v2 battles there. There will also be new ward skins, mystery gifting and new icon rewards for dedicated players.
No word yet on when the Snowdown is happening, but if it's anything like the Harrowings' late arrival, be sure to expect it around New Years.
