Hello everybody!

I have a very strange issue with Woocommerce emails. I hope you can help me.
I have a WordPress site hosted by GoDaddy. (Would like to sell an online course with Woocommerce)

The emails sent by WordPress (e.g. pw reset or test mail) receive every time in the inbox and in mail-tester inbox also. Never go to spam and they look nice every time with good mail-tester points.

However the Woocommerce emails (e.g. registration, complete order, etc.) are sent but never received. The settings are the same of course. The Woocommerce settings are okay according to the official documentation (everything is enable what are needed).
And according to the email log plugin the emails are sent but never received even in the mail tester (https://www.mail-tester.com/) inbox!

I talked with GoDaddy support and according to their answer everything is fine with the server configuration so the problem is with the Woocommerce plugin.

What can you advice, what can I do to solve this issue?

Hi there,

I understand you seem to have gone through the troubleshooting steps with a email log plugin and found that WooCommerce emails are being sent, but not received.

As the emails are sent, that suggests that your site is working correctly to send emails. I’d recommend using an SMTP provider as that will be more reliable then server sending method.

Hi!

Thank you for your feedback!
I tried several different SMTP providers in the last 2 weeks and the Post SMTP also following the advice in the FAQ section.
Unfortunately none of them worked…

However I found the solution what is at least as strange as the issue itself.
I changed the default Email Subject and Email Heading in the settings of Woocommerce and voilá, it works… The emails are received every time in the inbox.

Hopefully this could help others also.
