  • From my observations only, and please take not that I’m not the plugin admin. The text below is cut from one of my reviews.

‘.. the Plug-in needs to be reactivated on the settings page:-

Text To Speech – Amazon Polly
    Amazon Polly configuration
    Source language: [ English ]
Enable text-to-speech support: [ ] <– this becomes unchecked, rechecking it again and it’s all working as it was. ..’

It comes from a situation where your internet fails (locally), the box also needs checking to start exploring the wonderful world of Amazon voices.
In fact: illogically, most pages of the plugin features need activating.

    Hope it helps, .. Jessica.

    Hi @live4therisk,
Assuming that you have properly created your user, usually this kind of problems are connected with two things:
    1) The AWS account is not activated
    2) The keys are not properly copied into the plugin.

Could you first make sure that your AWS account is activated? The simplest way to do this, is to open AWS Console and then open Polly service – if you will be able to see an area in which you will be able to write some text and ‘listen’ to audio it will mean that your account is activated.

@mrsjessicasimpson I dont have that option in my WordPress Plugin Page

@tstachlewski I opened the AWS console and able to write text and listen to audio

As far as the keys go I copy-pasted them in, also checked for whitespace etc…

    Still nothing?

    I’m having the same problem.

@tstachlewski is there any development that can help others?

I haven’t tried this in a month or so, but there was no solution given to me unfortunately.
