The images do not go into their respective folders but go to “Unorganized”

    Hmm. It was resolved by manually putting it into the appropriate folder. Luckily the picture is less than 1000.

    Chances are it did get a new ID. I hope that in the future there will be an import export feature that also includes physical images (perhaps this will make it easier for many people in the future who just want to move their media library to another different website.
