On a client site, when trying ASE (Enable SVG uploads) it’s 50/50 if it works or not.

I have the same Logo in Header and Footer (Astra Header, Elementor Theme Builder Footer).

But in the Footer, I get a broken link, and the wrong URL is used for the SVG image. It strips the year and month from the URL, so End-users get a HTTP404.. I used a separate SVG Plugin before, which I turned off..

Re-uplolading the SVG ile works fine, but in the Media browser the Thumbnail is broken. Adding it in Elementor works fine, but when viewing the page instead of using:

    /wp-content/uploads/2024/07/logo.svg

    The SVG URL is suddenly:
    /wp-content/uploads/logo.svg <- which returns HTTP404.

Re-saving the Elementor page makes it work fine in Elementor, but not when viewing the actual site. Strange.. Worked 100% with the Benbohdi SVG plugin. No issues.

Any tips to get SVG working?

    On another section:
2 out of 4 SVGs stopped working..

@ingarb thank you for reporting this. Do you mind zipping the SVGs that don’t work properly after upload via something like WeTransfer? So I can try to replicate the issue on my test site and investigate what could be going wrong. Thanks.

I’ve had similiar problem but i’ve fixed it on Elementor Settings -> Enable SVG upload option /Unfilter Upload/.

    You should try it.

Great to hear you’ve found a fix. Thanks for sharing that. Maybe other users with a similar setup will find that useful.
