• The plugin for some reason stopped recording Purchase events. Add to cart and other events are recorded properly but the most important one shows 0 in GA4.

    Hi @yanliom,

Thanks for letting us know the Google Analytics extension has stopped tracking purchase events.

Please let us know what version you are running, and please note version 2.0.3 of Google Analytics for WooCommerce has been released recently. If you need to update, we highly recommend making a backup of your site, when performing theme/plugin updates.

    Please let us know!

    Hi everyone!

We appreciate you’ve been waiting for a response so thanks very much for your patience. We’ve had an unusually high number of requests lately and are working hard to get our response time back on track!

After checking, I can confirm that this is a known bug. Our developers are aware of the bug and are working to resolve it.

In the meantime, the recommendation is to downgrade to 1.8.14 until a fix is released.

I hope this helps and let us know if you’ll have any further questions!

Hi is there an update on the official fix for this?

I noted that purchase events stopped tracking with a version upgrade from 1.8.14 -> 2.0.3. Our site is hosted in Australia with predominantly Australian customers.

They started working again in 2.0.6, however there is nothing mentioned in the changelog. Also, view_item_list events are now tracking 10x less than they were before the upgrade.

A direct update addressing the issues would be great. ecommerce conversion tracking is the only reason people use a plugin called Google Analytics for WooCommerce.

    Hi @galapogos01

I can’t replicate the issue on the latest version of the plugin.

To help me better assist you, please send me a copy of your site’s System Status. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Download for support” (after you scroll down a bit)”. Once done, please upload it to https://quickforget.com and share the link here.

@sukafia did you read my post mate?

    Hi @galapogos01,

Yes, I did but I couldn’t find your site information to allow me to take a look. (I also confused your issue with the initial report)
