• No drag and drop is an issue for upload. But the real problem is the lack of file security. The files are just open to the world, there is no file or directory level permissions to block public access!

@ebonweaver Are you having a good time giving 1-star reviews to plugins? (I checked your reviews at https://wordpress.org/support/users/ebonweaver/reviews/).

But anyway, you are right, there is no drag and drop and no functionality for setting permissions in the free version. You are of course free to use it or not, but please, when you give reviews to plugins, try to think for a while first, just giving aggressive 1-star reviews doesn’t lead to anything. Plugin developers are usually happy to get proper feedback from users.

BTW, you just gave 5 stars to Advanced File Manager with the title Security Fail! (the same review text you originally gave to my plugin, https://wordpress.org/support/topic/security-fail-2/, I was quite puzzled with that one at first).

@anssilaitila If you think this works, you are very wrong.@

This is a nameless person with no reputation to consider.

You on the other hand, have just shown the entire world how poorly you reply to negative feedback. Not a good look.

@deepakkite Do not report this review again.

    I’m sorry @ebonweaver, I shouldn’t have reacted like that.

I’m grateful for any kind of feedback and the plugin wouldn’t be what it is today without valuable feedback for users, positive or negative.

Personally I don’t think this was an uncalled for reply on the developers part. The fact the OP seems to love to slam hard working developers with 1 star reviews is very relevant.
