Ciao @nicetrooper2,
Thank you for downloading the plugin. I am Andrea and I will help you in your request. Could you give me more information and can you tell me if your .htaccess has any fltro that blocks writing so I can give you the best possible assistance in the shortest time
Hey Andrea,
The problem is that when I install the plugin and configure it, it basically puts like a base code in the .htaccess file but features like the Max-Age, include subdomain and preload don’t get added.
hi @nicetrooper2,
Thanks for the feedback, I ask you have you verified that in settings > Headers Security Advanced & HSTS WP, the configuration is configured as checked HSTS?
From your information it seems that everything is related to the HSTS I ask you if you can check and I am completely available to help you
Hi Andrea,
These are my settings:hi @nicetrooper2,
The configuration I see is correct, I ask you to take the following step so I can rule out some basic problems.
Deselect HSTS with the preload and subdomains and save values. Once this is done, select the values again and save.
If after the following basic steps it does not solve try to deactivate and reactivate the plugin.
This allows me to have more ideas on how to help you solve it
Hey Andrea,
Now the Strict-Transport-Security is added in the .htaccess file wich is great but X-Content-Type-Options and Permissions-Policy are still missing. What I have done is just copied the code (with everything included) and saved it on my computer so next time I can just copy and paste it.hi @nicetrooper2,
thanks for the feedback I am glad that with this step you solved HSTS. Regarding X-Content-Type-Options and Permissions-Policy I confemme that the plugin uses the two headers I see that from the screenshot above you selected the duplicate headers to hide try deselecting them save and then reselect them.
I am fully available to compel support as quickly as possible
Hey Andrea,
I don’t exactly know what you mean by “duplicate headers to hide”? Can you specify this a bit more for me please?Hi @nicetrooper2,
I’ll try to give you more information, in your impsoations by going to Settings > Security Headers Advanced & HSTS WP and going to the “Resolve Duplicate Site Headers” item try unchecking Permissions-Policy and X-Content-Type-Options.
This procedure according to the different information received should solve this last issue. I am available to compel assistance and offer you the best possible support from me. Thank you
Hey Andrea,
It doesn’t work but don’t worry about it. I have my txt file with the full code in it so I will use this for the furture. Thank you so much for your help.hi @nicetrooper2,
Thank you for your availability and for choosing the plugin.
Hey Andrea,
Maybe you can add the code snippit in the plugin description so when people are also having the same issue they can just copy and paste it?
Let me know what you thinkHi @nicetrooper2,
thank you for your feedback, in the next updates will come new features such as report-to compatible with major platforms and certainly in later versions I could implement quick copy and paste.
Hey Andrea,
Amazing I am really looking forward to that 🙂
