Robots Meta Settings. After the latest updates, in the Post – Categories section wordpress, it puts the default values for the category “Default (noindex)”, although there are no prohibitions in the global settings of Robots Meta “Indexing” Settings. This bug is only for categories, for posts it puts the correct values. All my sites are like this. Сategory page example: https://gumoreska.in.ua/pryvitannya-z-dnem-narodzhennya/

    Howdy!

TSF doesn’t only read the global settings to determine whether a category should be indexed, it also checks if there are any posts assigned to the category.

When zero posts are assigned, then TSF sets the default to “noindex.” You can overwrite this behavior by selecting “index” for the category.

Thanks a lot! I’ve been wondering why it works this way for a long time. Checked your version is correct.
