From your description, it seems like you’re having trouble editing the Description Box and the Short Description Box is not appearing. This issue typically arises due to a conflict with another plugin or theme, and you also mentioned that the issue is gone when the Facebook for WooCommerce is deactivated, right?
Can you please try to switch to a default WordPress theme, and then deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce and Facebook for WooCommerce, and see if the issue is gone? If yes, that means it’s a theme or a plugin is contributing to the issue. Re-enable each to see which one causes it. You can find a more detailed explanation of how to do a conflict test here.
If you did not find the issue from the theme, or other plugins, please share the following:
- System Status Report: navigate to WooCommerce → Status → select
Get system report and then Download for support. This will download a TXT file that has the contents of the SSR to share with us.
- Fatal Error log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce → Status → Logs.
