Popup URL doesn’t work

    Hello,
    I would like to trigger each item of a video portfolio.
    The plugin allows to put a customized url and I tried to put the URL found with your plugin but it doesn’t work… I tried it also with a simple image but still, nothing happens !
    – I set up the popup to show on the entire website so it’s not that.
    – I tried to replace the “#” by “%23” but nope.
    – Tried to create a button which triggers the popup and copy the link but still not working.

    Can you help me please ?

    Hi,

    I tried the “Click Here” button and the popup shows up. For the video portfolio, your video widget doesn’t seem to use which is required by Elementor popup trigger javascript. That’s why it doesn’t work on the video portfolio.

    Hello,
    Thank you very much for your answer.
    But the thing is, as I said, the link doesn’t work in any case.
    Nor on on an image, nor on a custom link in the menu etc.
    So I don’t think the portfolio is the only problem….

    As for the button, it does work when I use the dynamic button to chose the “popup” option. But the link itself doesn’t do anything.

    Would you have a solution ?

    Hmm,

    I can’t find any other link on the given page URL to open the popup except the one from Elementor button widget (“Click Here” button). Could you add a manual link using our trigger URL so we can check?

    We just tested the functionality on our development site and it works perfectly.

    Ok so I added the link on an image and on the “realisation” menu and it’s weirdly working now. But still not on the video portfolio…
    Does it mean I have to add a piece of javascript to make it work with the plugin ?

    Your video portfolio widget doesn’t use <a> tag to enable the link. Whereas Elementor javascript only detects <a> tag. That’s why it doesn’t work.
