    Hi there,

It seems like the plug-in doesn’t function on PHP 8.0. We run the website on WPengine. See the screenshot below.

You can contact me for more information. It seems like it’s really in the plug-in, and not in the theme that we built besides it. Some additional info about our install:

    WP version: 6.2
    PHP version: 8.0.28
    Server: Apache

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello,

thank you very much for the request. The message displayed indicates a problem with the imported data from Personio. Probably there is a designation missing for a position, which is why the message appears. This has nothing to do with the PHP version.

I would like to have a look at what positions are used in your project. Could you please name the Personio URL from which the data is imported? Since this URL is publicly available to everyone anyway, feel free to mention it here. Furthermore I would need some information about the language settings in the plugin (Positions > Settings > General Settings).

    Hey there,
Alright. Could be possible. Strange this is that this error doesn’t appear when I switch the website to PHP 7.4. Only on PHP 8.0.

The URL is https://parakar.jobs.personio.com. The main language is ‘en_US’. Thanks!

Interesting case. In your positions from Personio there is “International Sales Consultant” which has no job description. This position alone already causes the error output in the plugin.

I see 3 possibilities for you to quickly solve this yourself:

    a) Add the job description to the position in Personio. Without this it makes little sense for applicants I think.
    b) Remove the position from Personio, e.g. by setting it to non-public. If you have questions about this, contact Personio support.
    c) If you are using a child theme, you can add the following template to it: https://laolaweb.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/personio-integration-light.zip – it should look like this in the child theme directory:

With the next update of the light plugin there will also be adaptation for this. Thank you for your question and the hint that there can be positions without description text 😉
