Few minutes back I observed that my website is completely messed up. The colors are not properly reflecting. The footer is not getting properly displayed. The menu options are also not showing properly.

And then when I checked my email, I saw one email saying that the “Kirki Customizer Framework” got updated to a new version. I believe the issue arises due to this plugin update.

Please help me in fixing this issues.

As soon as I downloaded the most recent Kirki update, my site crashed and is unrecoverable even when reverting to previous versions. Using Folie theme with custom child theme.

I rolled back the plugin to 3.1.9 and it worked now.

I also had a similar problem, I’m using the Buddyx theme and on the blog page the header is huge, luckily I have the site backup and I went back to the previous settings, but this is a serious flaw.

can you please try to get the dev’s of Buddyx involved by reporting the issue to them? This might be something they can have a look at on their end. We unfortunately don’t have access to their theme.

Thanks for your attention, but how can I report a problem that only happened after I updated the plugin? See I’m not the only one.
As I said, after I upgraded, some pages just got unconfigured, I got a warning email from Jetpack with the following warning: “Hello.

Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your website and notifies you with this automatic email.

In this case, WordPress detected an error with its plugin: Kirki.

First, visit their website ( https://arenafiel.com.br/ ) and if there are any visible problems. Then visit the page where the error was found” Fortunately, I am using a plan that can restore the old settings.

Oh so you are getting a fatal error too. Does that happen with version 4.0.3 for you as well? Can you please enable debug mode + logging as described in this article & try to update Kirki again? The content in the debug.log file should give us some more insights on what exactly is triggering the fatal error – https://wp-pagebuilderframework.com/docs/debugging/.

Keep in mind that you will most likely have to revert from your backup again if this still triggers a fatal error.
