This would require custom code, I have previously built a code snippet to award points for every time an order is created inside Paid Memberships Pro.

I hope this is enough to get you started, and that it can be adjusted to support point types.
Looking into this further it seems the mycred_add function does support type according to their codex – https://codex.mycred.me/functions/mycred_add/

I wrote the below already for mycred support, but that place is just slow!
I need a snippets that can make me permanently make a paid membership pro has a custom point type for earnings, eg
Level 1 pmpro would always earn from mycred_default point type and most not earn from other point-types.
Level 2 pmpro would always earn from mycred_custompoint point type and most not earn from other point-types.
Level 3 pmpro would always earn from mycred_custompoint point type and most not earn from other point-types.
