    Hello,

What did happen 2 days ago?

@sebastienserre – for two days now, I am unable to get into the login page of my website to get into wordpress admin. Everything time i type in mywebsite with the /wp-admin, it takes me back to the regular website and not the login feature.

I do not recall a chang on Litespeedcache plugins or Cloudflare. I am new to this company and I have not built the website so I am still learning the ins and outs.

Does anyone have a solution please?

Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

The login URL address might have tempered by someone else working on the website, there are very strong chances that it could have done using any security or cache plugin. You can access the plugins directory via cPanel and rename the plugins folder to plugins.deactivate, you can find the plugins folder at http://www.domain.com/wp-content/plugins

If this works you can start activating plugins to see the plugin responsible for the login URL. Reach out to the hosting support to assist you throughout the process.

It’s always better to troubleshoot in the staging environment to avoid any inconveniences.

@codente – I am very new to this, I downloaded the phpMyAdmin but I am unsure what to do with it.

I am unsure where the hosting account’s control panel is. I started this company and another company prior made the website. I can see that the domain was purchased from GoDaddy, however, I cannot see the wordpress website from there.

@farrukhhassan – Do you happen to know how I can connect the website to cPanel?

I dont have an account that is connected to cPanel.

You’ll find phpMyAdmin in your hosting account’s control panel, it’s not something you install yourself.

As for connecting WordPress’s login to cPanel, that’s a third-party integration we don’t support. If your hosting provider offers it, their support can help with that.

@randydhookram sorry for late reponse, you will need the hosting access in future as well. it’s better to get the hosting access from company. cPanel can be accessed from hosting account or via direct link http://www.domain.com/cpanel, direct access depends on the hosting provider whether they allow or not.
