How can I restrict one order per address?

    Hello,

    Im having an issue with a trial product on my store. since the product is a free trial I’m getting multiple same users ordering it over and over again, Ive installed a plugin to restrict the order to one per IP address but thats becoming ineffective.

    Is it possible to stop the order from going through if there is already an order placed for that address? or if they use the same address, phone number or email etc.

    Had a google and not seeing much in terms of plugins or snippets so not sure its possible.

    Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
