Hardnews theme styles are gone after updating

    Hi there,
    I have a cover news theme and it child theme “Hard news” currently activated on my website.
    Since Hardnews is the child theme of cover news but when I update the hard news all my custom CSS styling are gone why does this happen?

    Hardnews is a child theme of cover or not?
