    Below, we have some basic questions that may arise when working with Social Share Buttons plugin.
    If you don’t find the answer to your question, please post it through our ticket system. We will do everything possible to respond you within 12 hours.

    1. Q: How can I hide the buttons on the blog feed?
    A: Go to the Main tab of settings -> Show at next pages block -> choose “Don’t show on next pages / posts” -> select “blog” type of posts. It will hide the buttons for this type.

    2. Q: How to use Social Share Buttons Widget?
    A: Please follow this instruction –
    1. After you create the project �� go to Where to show section.
    2. Find “Widget” radio button and activate it.
    3. Customize the other options. Don’t forget to click “Save” button.
    4. On the left WordPress navigation menu go to Appearance -> Widgets.
    5. Here find your social share project and add to widget area.

    3. Q: How to share post link from posts list on homepage of the website. Social buttons share the homepage link and not the post link.
    A: In order to share post link from posts list on homepage – you need to activate “Share only post link” checkbox in Where to show section on Main tab of project settings. In this case it will share post link even if post is in the list.

  • Is it correct that this plug-in only records clicks on the buttons, and not actual shares?

    It seems you can click on the button, get the share pop up, not complete it and this still records a share.

    Also posts which have already been shared many times, do not show up with any numbers. Can you confirm the buttons act as click counters rather than being integrated into the various services? Thank you.

    Hello!

    Yes, Social Share plugin counts clicks on the buttons. It was implemented in such way to be able to prettily customise buttons. If you want to count shares, you can check the statistic in social network.
