We are using Elementor, Elementor Hello theme, and Crocoblock JetEngine to create a resource library full of PDF files.

We have a custom post type called “Documents” with custom meta fields, one of which is the media library URL for the document. The CPT and meta fields were all created with JetEngine.

I’d like to dynamically embed the PDFs in a page template using the File URL meta field. For some reason, it works with the regular EmbedPress widget but not with the EmbedPress PDF widget.

We’d like to get this working with the PDF widget, so we have more control over toolbar styling and such. Any idea why it would work with one EmbedPress widget but not another?

    CPT Meta Field configuration:

    Hi @baker1992

Greetings. Really sorry to hear about the issue.

I have reviewed your query. As the both EmbedPress & EmbedPress PDF widgets handles the custom post type in a different way. I suggest you kindly try to check again by changing the CPT Field Type as a ‘URL field‘ instead of using the current ‘Textarea‘, as you can see: https://d.pr/i/nlMDeE

After that check again, and let us know how it goes then.

    Thank you!
