Developing first wordpress theme tutorial

    When logging into my blog (wordpress.com) site I don’t see a way to create a theme style guide with the Appearance, editor settings. Is this instruction for wordpress.org sites only?

    Most welcome to WordPress forums.
    So — everything here at WordPress.org is about the WordPress you could install on your own server (well, in most cases you’d use a one-click install from your webhost, though…)

    WordPress.com is a commercial service that is built on top of the “usual” WordPress. Some things are added, and some things are removed. That’s all on their (Automattic) discretion, and we don’t really control any of that here.

    (At the same time, Automattic is one of the really large companies that contribute back to WordPress, so I guess it’s still quite ok. 🙂 )

    So, short answer: If you’re wondering anything about how things work at .com, then you need to ask in their support.
