dark background

I am installing Events Manager on a site with a dark-blue background. The text needs to be white in order to be read. I found out how to add CSS in the customizer for the month at the top of the calendar display from searching this support forum, but the event page has mostly black/grey text, which does not work with the theme’s dark background. I tried both Page and Post format, as well as enabling advanced styling, but there clearly needs to be some customization somewhere. The site uses the Twenty-Twenty theme. The only CSS I have used before was generated by the YellowPencil plug-in (another site). I am thinking that creating a new page template may be needed, but I am wondering if there is a way to change all the Events Manager text color to white.
