Categories in the Blog Section

Hi,
I am in love with Hestia, is a great theme.
In a blog I am planning to launch, I would like to have 3 kinds of posts, divided by categories (Work, News and Blog). I managed to show separated pages for each one of those, but I was wondering if there is any way to show ONLY one category in the blog section in the front page.
Turns out I am a writer and I would like to feature only my works (category works) in the blog section in the front page.Could be via coding, no problem.

In order to achieve this you need to modify the post loop in the hestia-blog-section.php file of this theme.

https://codex.wordpress.org/Class_Reference/WP_Query#Category_ParametersI’d suggest rather using child theme. then editing theme template files since it will be easier for you to find that in the future and unless you’re using child theme the changes would be overridden with the next theme update.
