I used this plugin for over 2 years without any issues. However, since the release of 2.0.0 it’s just not usable anymore.

My biggest issue is with the invalid value of purchase events. Due to formatting error, the conversion value was increased hundredfold. It cannot be deleted via GA4 deletion requests as devs suggested, because it is not possible to remove numeric values, so I’m stuck with them forever.

It might not be a big deal to some, but to me, it’s a deal breaker. I switched to another plugin. Sure it’s free, but stuff like these should be caught in tests before release..

    Hey @mselrosa,

Sorry to hear about your experience with Google Analytics 2.0.

I agree it’s a big deal and should be caught in testing before being released. With that said, we haven’t seen any reports like yours regarding the new release. If you haven’t moved on, we’d love to get more details on exactly what is happening.

    Thanks!

Oof yeah same story here. Purchase values since updating are off by 2 decimal points and showing 100x more purchase value than expected. Dealbreaker for us too.

Same issue here! Messed up my stats and now add to cart events aren’t triggered either. At least provide warnings or a notice on your updates.

Also am I wrong in remembering that the plugin once had an option to not include the GA tag if it was implemented elsewhere on the site? Just adding the extra events?

Sorry to hear that. Could you please share the System Status Report (WooCommerce > Status > System Status > Get system report > Download for support) so we can analyze this further?

Not 100% sure about this though. Will need to check and get back to you on this.
