    The url includes an anchor link further down the page, but it is not working.

    Any assistance would be much appreciated as this function is critical for a school project.

    Hi there,

    Instead of adding the href="#notes2", try add the whole URL like this:
    href="http://www.britishimperialism.org/notes/#notes2" and check.
