    Hello everyone,

I am trying to follow this tutorial:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HCObtqshk2s

It is lengthy, but at around 12:30 he goes through the initial site setup, using an Astra theme, with the Outdoor Adventure template. At 22:24 he goes into editing the site in Elementor. I followed his instructions, excluding selecting Elementor as the editor at the initial setup phase, as I am not given that option.

It would appear that between activating Elementor rather than the Block editor that the site defaults to, it is losing the Inner Section elements (I stand to be corrected, but that appears to be what it is called).

    • I have recreated the site several times over the course of the last few hours, and have been able to replicate the results on multiple templates.
    • I have gone through multiple articles on Elementor’s help centre
    • I found “fixit” articles indicating that if I disable “FlexBox Container”, it should fix this issue, and it does, indeed, but it then completely wipes out all of the template content.  I also enabled “Switch Editor loader method” as proposed by EVA.
    • If I try to recreate the site with Flexbox disabled, then it says it needs to be enabled.
    • When I create the site, it defaults to the Box Editor (in the tutorial, it provides an option to select the editor, but I don’t seem to get that option when launching from my admin portal for some reason).
    • I tried to add the template after resetting the entire site, activating Elementor first, and then adding the site, but it still defaults to the Block Editor.
    • Within the Block Editor, I can clearly see that there are individual sections, which each element have their own editing sections. These are each differentiated by their own outlines, with their own editing floating menus and font/style etc menus to one side.
    • Given that I do not get the “Edit in Elementor” option when creating the site, in order to convert to the “Elementor” editor, I need to click the “Edit with Elementor” button at the top of the website, while I am in the Block editor
    • Once I click this button, though, everything seems to go screwy… The entire page becomes one big text editor. The spacing on the elements is goes out the window, images are displayed at their original proportions, and are also controlled in the text editor. If I click to try and move (what should be) an element, it just shows that I’m trying to move the “Text Editor” element which occupies the entire container.
    • I have performed the troubleshooting steps listed in the “Before logging a ticket” section.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I found a similar issue listed here, but the poster had a site backup to restore to, and I am creating a new site:
