This used to be my go to contact form. However, after the most recent update it no longer works with Google Recaptcha, and forms fail to be submitted. Turning off recaptcha and it works again, but, even with Akismet installed, it’s unusable due to the number of spam submissions received. If it starts working with recaptcha again I will re-review

Used it for years but lately it doesn’t work on any site anymore. Hope they fix it but in the meantime I will have to use something else.

Version 5.9.6 applies the default maxlength validation rule to text fields (text, email, telephone number, URL, and text area) if they have no maxlength option. The default maxlength value is 80 for single-line text and 400 for a text area. If your fields expect text input longer than the default value, set the maxlength option explicitly. Why ? Why not make the default text field unlimited? There are many users who receive forms with more than 400 characters in their contact form messages. Thierry
