We can be police officers in GTA Online now, did you hear? It’s crazy, but pretty cool. Here’s all you need to know about the new GTA Online Dispatch missions, and how to unlock all of the police cruisers. Let’s begin with the former, shall we?
How to unlock the GTA Online Dispatch Missions
To access the Dispatch missions from the Bottom Dollar Bounties update, you’ll need a police cruiser. I recommend buying the Bravado Gauntlet Cruiser if you’ve unlocked the trade price, since the dispatch missions will also allow you to unlock all of the trade prices on the Police Cruiser range, as we’ll get into later.
Once you have the police cruiser, Vincent will have a chat with you over the radio. After this, you can hit R3, and then accept the Dispatch mission with the right button on the d-pad. That’s all there is to it.
So what missions can you expect?
All the GTA Online Dispatch Missions
There are four different types of Dispatch missions. Here are the ones I’ve found so far.
Civil Disturbance GTA Online Dispatch Mission
In this mission, you’ll need to eliminate 3-4 gang captains. There are a few variations, but the ones I’ve had so far were the Professional Specialists, who appear to have a weakness to sniper head shots; and the Vagos Captains, who are also weak to head shots and also grenades.
I joke, but this mission is very straightforward. Go to the location, take out the gang leaders and any of their muscle that gets in the way, and leave the area. Quick and fun, with the Vagos mission only taking me 3 minutes and 41 seconds.
Possession for Sale GTA Online Dispatch Mission
These missions involve taking on a gang and stealing their drugs. Only, you don’t take the drugs to one of your businesses, you take them to Vincent’s evidence lockup. We really are on the straight and narrow now, aren’t we?
These are also really easy. The only complications are when they’re out in Blaine County or in gang territory (you shoot one Vagos, they all come after you). Even with this complication and a death, I managed to complete one of these in just 4 minutes and a couple of seconds.
Malicious Mischief GTA Online Dispatch Mission
This one has a bit of a spin to it. In this mission, you need to take out gang members who are protecting bombs. Once they’re all down, you have to disarm the bombs via a series of inputs on your d-pad.
It’s also pretty quick and easy, taking only around five to ten minutes.
Officer Monitored GTA Online Dispatch Mission
In this mission, you’ll need to infiltrate an office and recover some incriminating evidence. Again, arrive at the location, kill the gang members, and get the evidence returned to Vincent’s lockup. It’s another quick mission, and only takes five to ten minutes, depending on it’s location.
And that’s all. These missions are all super easy, and very quick. But how much can you make?
How much can you make with Dispatch missions in GTA Online?
Each successful mission makes you GTA$25,000. You can complete a mission in five to ten minutes pretty easily, even when they’re across the map from you. There’s a five minute cooldown between each mission as well, meaning you could do four an hour, which would make you GTA$100k an hour.
At an absolute maximum, you could probably do 6 missions an hour, which would net you GTA$130k an hour. So the short answer? Not much.
There are more efficient ways to make money, and the limited number of dispatch mission mean they do get boring fast. It’s novel, but definitely not worth the minimum GTA$4 million investment needed to unlock these missions.
If you have heaps of money lying around and want to check it out, be my guest. But if it’s money-making you’re after, go buy a bunker or a sub. The Cayo Perico heist and gun running are probably still the best ways to go.
How to unlock all Police Cruisers in GTA Online
Your first job to unlock all the Police Cruiser now available in GTA Online is to complete the Slush Fund job in The Cluckin’ Bell Farm Raid (it’s the mission where you steal counterfeit cash). To start this mission, go to the “V” on your map (after officer Vincent gives you a call). Pick the prep mission called “Slush Fund” and get it done.
Once that’s done, you can buy any of the cruisers – but their prices are still a bit steep.
So how do you unlock the trade prices? Simple, complete Dispatch missions. Here’s a breakdown of which mission unlocks which trade price:
- Greenwood Cruiser – Complete five Dispatch missions to unlock the trade price.
- Dorado Cruiser – Complete the Officer Monitored Dispatch mission to unlock the trade price.
- Impaler SZ Cruiser – Complete the Possession for Sale Dispatch mission to unlock the trade price.
