    I taught drums and facilitated weekly drop-in music jams with residents at one of St Mungo's hostels in central London. I met some great people, saw how music can really help people connect with others and themselves - and had some great jams too!

In the UK since 2010, it has helped over 2 million people make an informed choice about who to vote for. A national poll found that 35% are more likely to vote after using this service.

    Manifesto Tracker tracked the progress of every promise in the government's manifesto from the 2017 and 2019 general elections. It's about accountability, but also finding new ways to engage people between elections - helping them become active citizens on the issues they care most about.

    There is no other active project like this in the UK - despite the fact that basic accountability is vital for a healthy, functioning democracy. In fact, there are currently only two other 'promise…

    Manifesto Tracker tracked the progress of every promise in the government's manifesto from the 2017 and 2019 general elections. It's about accountability, but also finding new ways to engage people between elections - helping them become active citizens on the issues they care most about.

    There is no other active project like this in the UK - despite the fact that basic accountability is vital for a healthy, functioning democracy. In fact, there are currently only two other 'promise trackers' in the world (US and Canada). Policy Tracker has an ambitious programme of development, mainly focussing on building relevance to specific voter groups such as young people, people on lower incomes, and other less-represented groups. The code is open source for use in other countries, and the UK policy data is soon to be opened up too for other organisations to use.

  • What One Change?

    What One Change was a video-based educational project examining root causes of social change. The aim was to promote greater distribution of knowledge about social issues from practitioners. Contributors created video responses to one simple question:
    "What one change would have the biggest positive impact on society?"
