Thank you esure Group for sponsoring 5 kelp survey sites in 2023 and 2024. Your continued support is helping to monitor the recovery of kelp forests on the Sussex Coastline and the 2023 report saw positive signs that the bye-law is helping marine biodiversity move in the right direction. For example, the green sea urchin, was spotted 24 times across the survey sites. Since April 2023, esure has also supported the restoration of 60,000 m2 of wildflowers across four UK counties, helping to connect pollinators and provide rich habitat for wildlife. A huge thank you and well done to Asuna I. from our Marketing team who recently used one of her two paid volunteering days for this year to take part in a beach clean-up, supporting the work of the Marine Conservation Society at her local beach in Edinburgh 👏 Speaking about why it’s important to her, Asuna said “There are so many plastic wetwipes that wash ashore on our beaches and it’s a very manual process to retrieve them from the sand. Congratulations to all the colleagues from across our business who have now graduated from our inaugural Leadership Programme with Circl® 👏 and received their certificates as recognised by the Association for Coaching (AC). The programme matched our colleague volunteers with underrepresented young, aspiring leaders, allowing the pairs to work together to develop their coaching skills, including focusing on listening, communication and empathy. With 12 weeks of learning now complete, everyone involved is excited to put their inclusive coaching skills into practice! With customer experience at the heart of our digital transformation, it was great to hear thoughts from our very own David Bourdillon, on the panel at the recent Insurance Transformation Summit. The panel discussion focussed on personalisation of customer experience, including how rapidly the concept of personalisation has evolved. David shared interesting insight into our use of GenAI to meet customer needs and offer intuitive and seamless digital customer journeys. Commenting on the session, David said: “We have a huge industry-wide opportunity to restore and build trust with consumers, so it's critical that we keep our focus on understanding and serving customers' diverse needs.
