How can digital twins improve warehouse operations? A digital twin is a virtual representation of a physical object or system where any changes in the physical object are automatically reflected in the digital twin model. By generating a digital twin of a warehouse, staff can analyse the status, barcodes and occupancy of any location quickly and easily – without any of the walking! This digital twin can then be updated with the latest warehouse scans from Dexory’s autonomous robots. Helping warehouse managers stay ahead of stock, operations and potential issues.

Accuracy and efficiency of inventory management can make or break a business. Traditionally, inventory counts were conducted manually on a periodic basis—weekly, monthly, or even yearly, but it comes with challenges and limitations. According to London Premier Centre ( LPC Training ), manual counting typically results in an accuracy rate of around 65% to 70%. With automated systems, warehouses can scan vast areas and thousands of locations within hours, collecting data continuously and making sure you operate up to 99.9% accuracy.
