Center your map on client’s current location!

With Google Maps Easy you will be able to use Geolocation for your map! It refers to the identification of the geographic location of a user or computing device via a variety of data collection mechanisms. Check the example of the option on the map below!

In order to enable geolocation for your map go to Map Properties tab and find Center on current user location checkbox. Activate it and Save the map settings.

Please note! This option doesn’t work anymore for unsecured origins in Chrome browser (starting with version 50). The reason for that is that Google Maps Easy plugin uses Google API. And Google in its turn has removed geolocation feature for non-secure origins. Starting with Chrome 50, Chrome no longer supports obtaining the user’s location using the HTML5 Geolocation API from pages delivered by non-secure connections. (like http, it will work only for https). Please check this document.
