Staff Pick laurels

Creators who receive a Staff Pick may use the official Vimeo Staff Pick laurels to promote their chosen video, pending adherence to our guidelines.

Have video integrity

Laurels can only be used in association with videos added to the Staff Picks channel that have Staff Pick laurels on vimeo.com.

For video and video only

Do not use the Staff Pick laurel as your profile picture or in your profile cover video, or as a thumbnail of a separate version of the video.

One video, one award

Only one version of the video can have the Staff Pick laurel; however, associated crew may feature the award on their profiles through the "credits" section.

Usage guidelines

  • Trade dress and trademarks


    The name "Vimeo" and stylized "v" are trademarks registered in the U.S. and other countries. We own and maintain unregistered trademarks, including our "Staff Picks" word and design mark, video player button, and Vimeo blue. Vimeo's distinct use of color combinations, typography, iconography, and the general aesthetic appearance, design, and layout of the Vimeo website, mobile application, and related products make-up Vimeo's trade dress. Anytime Vimeo trademarks or trade dress are used, they should signify the source of a Vimeo product or service. You may not imitate Vimeo's trade dress or trademarks.

  • Using our brand


    If you use Vimeo Brand Assets, do so in a fair and honest manner. Do not use Vimeo Brand Assets to imply you are affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Vimeo, unless agreed in writing. Ensure your use of the Vimeo Brand Assets does not lead to confusion between Vimeo and third parties. Do not use the Vimeo Brand Assets in a derogatory, defamatory, or infringing manner or context.

  • Our name in text


    Use the "Vimeo" name as an adjective (e.g., Vimeo platform, Vimeo software, Vimeo subscriber), not as a verb, and not in the plural or possessive form.


    When referencing Vimeo, please do not link to anything except vimeo.com unless an alternative location is specified in writing by a Vimeo representative.

  • Respect our marks


    Modification, transformation, distortion, and derivative works of Vimeo Brand Assets is strictly prohibited. Prohibited acts include: (i) changing the spelling or capitalization of a word mark, (ii) deviating from our permitted colors, (iii) shortening, abbreviating, or creating acronyms from the mark, or (iv) adding or removing any punctuation, words, or design elements to or from the mark.

You are not permitted to use any other Vimeo intellectual property without first receiving our explicit written consent prior to such use.

You are only permitted to use current Vimeo Brand Assets, and only so long as your use is in accordance with these Media Kit guidelines.

We may revoke your permission to use the Vimeo Brand Assets, in whole or in part, at any time.

Nothing in this Media Kit may be construed as to transfer any ownership or rights in the Vimeo Brand Assets or any Vimeo trademark.

The contents of this Media Kit, including all trademarks and Vimeo Brand Assets, are provided “as is.” Vimeo disclaims any warranties, express or implied, including warranties of non-infringement. The use of Vimeo Brand Assets does not imply endorsement by Vimeo of the user’s products or services, nor does it imply affiliation, partnership, or approval, unless expressly stated by Vimeo in writing. You assume the entire risk as to the safety, quality, performance, and use of the Vimeo Brand Assets. In no event will Vimeo be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages for use of the Vimeo Brand Assets, even if Vimeo is expressly advised of the possibility of such damages.

We may update this Media Kit and its guidelines at any time. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in compliance with our most recent version of this Media Kit and its guidelines.

Vimeo, in its sole discretion, may take action against any use of its brand that does not conform to this Media Kit or its guidelines, infringes Vimeo intellectual property, or violates applicable law.
