About this ebook

Love is worth a little scandal . . .

Owen Hadley is a dashing rogue, and one of no particular fortune. Hence his need for a wealthy wife. Determined to succeed, he sets out to charm one at a house party and makes his move. But a left instead of a right leads him to the wrong lady’s bedchamber, namely the shrewish older sister of his intended paramour. This mistake casts him into a scandal of major proportions.
Milly is ready to declare spinsterhood. If marriage means trading her freedom for a foppish husband, she’ll gladly remain single. But when London’s most notorious rogue mistakenly makes his way into her bedchamber, Milly finds herself unexpectedly and unwillingly at the altar.
The more time Milly spends with her husband, the more she begins think the unwanted marriage is the best thing that ever happened to her. And Owen must convince Milly that each night with him will be more wonderful than the last. Will they be able to admit that a little scandal is worth the love of a lifetime?

Owen needs money to take care of his home and tenants. He must marry an heiress. One young lady has the dowry he needs. His plan is to compromise, but it's the older sister, Milly, rather than her youngest sister when he ends up in the wrong room. One kiss and Owen has high hopes he can make a successful marriage by seduction. But Milly has trust issues and it's going to take more than seduction to win her over. Owen won me over to his side with his compassion and understanding. A novella with a lot of heat and descriptive encounters. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

A Gentleman Never Surrenders is book two in the Sins and Scandals series. This was a wonderful story. My favorite trope is enemies to lovers and Owen and Milly certainly fit the bill. Though this book can be read as a stand alone, I think it’s a better experience if you read the books in order. There were some twists to the plot that I didn’t expect that kept the pace brisk.I received an advance review copy for free, and I am voluntarily leaving review
