Offering extensive functionality, this app competes well with other navigation apps. The main differences lie in user preference and GUI design. I encountered two drawbacks: one specific to this platform and another in a different app. Fortunately, one of these issues was resolved in a recent update, improving full-screen map display on larger vehicle infotainment screens. However, one feature that seems to be missing is satellite view. Apart from that, it's a solid choice.

Very good. Accurate. As good as Google maps to me. I like how the posted speed limit is on the screen next to your actual speed. Large text is great for android auto, but the Map icons and map text are too tiny, even on my giant screen. No means or ways to save current location to favorites with android head unit in automobile. Press and hold does nothing. No menus or pop-ups appear. .

I've been using Waze for years. Questionable routes sometimes that it wants me to take when I know shorter ones... not sure why the software is so adamant about taking me down back roads that add multiple minutes when I'm looking for the quickest route. One star lost for that issue. The other star loss is because dark mode DOES NOT work. This is especially burdensome and dangerous when driving with Android Auto, it's literally blinding having the map/guide up.
