Slam of the North Star | Steel Path Elude Augment + Pull + Serene Storm Heavy Slam Baruuk

Shards:
2 Cast Speed
1 Power Strength to Hit 200% Strength on Tharros Strike
2 Melee Critical Damage
OPTIONAL: Swap [Augur Message] for another Nira's set mod.

This [Baruuk] build is different from the usual route of building combo on Desert Wind or using a statstick to maintain Gladiator set bonus.

With the update to slam attacks, Baruuk's [Desert Wind] enjoys a very beefy heavy slam attack. This is why we can go Ready Steel and Corrupt Charge on Desert Wind to hit 3x heavy multiplier.

Because of how the slam attack play-style works, Elude and its new augment Elusive Retribution are perfect synergies with slam attacks, as you will be heavy slamming a big group, then moving on to find the next big group. Compared to continuously spamming light melee attacks, there is down time between slam attacks, which gives a perfect window for enemies to shoot through you and stack the buff. At 260% strength, the augment gives 13% crit damage and attack speed, stacking up to a total of 78% more critical damage and attack speed. This is a sizeable boost to [Desert Wind] damage.

We're not running the 4th augment Reactive Storm since this is a raw damage build, status doesn't matter here. Baruuk's slam waves have a fall off range so we are subsuming pull to group enemies for less fall-off and more damage on each slam. [Baruuk]'s heavy slams can hit enemies that are grouped even in the air with pull.

Playstyle:
1. Activate 1 and get shot a couple times.
2. Activate 4.
3. Pull enemies to you on the ground or in the air.
4. Start heavy slamming in the air.
5. Elude and its augment will proc because of the downtime from finishing slam attacks and moving to find new enemies.
6. Become Kenshiro.

You can use a statstick for this build to take advantage of Gladiator Set mod bonus. Anything that can have Gladiator Might, Gladiator Rush, and Gladiator Vice, For example: https://overframe.gg/build/505413/

At 3x initial combo multiplier, Gladiator Set bonus gives 60% additional crit chance, along with [Sacrificial Steel]'s 440% crit chance on heavy attacks, [Desert Wind] will have a critical chance of 50%x(1+4.4+0.6) = 300%, which is just enough to hit tier 3 red crits. This coupled with Seismic Slam, and how it is multiplicative to [Primed Pressure Point] will make the heavy attack deal a huge amount of damage.

Nira's Set Mods such as Nira's Hatred apply +100% melee damage to slam attacks that is Additive to both Primed Pressure Point/Sacrificial Pressure and Seismic Wave. Making this mod a current must have for an additional 1.8x damage. If you don't need Stretch, or if you're using Seismic Bond from pets (Serene Storm counts as channeled ability), you can add an additional Nira's Anguish for 2.9x more damage on slam multiplicative to Base Damage and Seismic Wave. Another alternative is to have three Tauforged Crimson Archon Shards all into ability strength, this lets you swap Umbral Intensify for Nira's Anguish instead.

You will need a specific Mod setup for Desert Wind since it is going a heavy slamming route. For example: https://overframe.gg/build/640866/
