Uses [Tenacious Bond] for extra crit so you can run [Gladiator Might] instead of [Organ Shatter] , and the [Shock Trooper] augment provides the shock damage for Melee Influence. Status procs aren't all too common, but aren't as rare as it may seem. The extra attack speed really goes a long way. Not meant for Steel Path, since there are better options and also this weapon is given to new players anyway. You can replace the gas damage with Viral or pure heat (if you have a primer) and the arcane with either Melee Retaliation or Melee Exposure based on your preference, and it MIGHT work alright in Steel Path, but I haven't tested it.

As usual, I am not using a Tennokai mod because I feel that Tennokai is quite unreliable. So I run [Dispatch Overdrive] instead for a boost to movement speed. [Guardian Derision] is also a good choice if you're running with a friend and you want to help them survive a bit (good for helping new players out too). Otherwise, [Parry] is a decent option if you somehow find yourself letting the occasional melee unit slip by.
