This is the [Acceltra] Perfected

Update: build hasnt changed, rather i simply swapped mod order to include a bane setup instead as previously explained in the guide, see below:

I couldnt call this build ‘perfected’ if i were to use less priority mods, so i had no other choice but to swap things around just a bit.

For the non racists, simply replace bane with [Serration] for base damage to improve our slash

Every mod in this build has a purpose, I’ve personally spent hours testing every possibility to make our ammo economy/damage as efficient as possible.

Why do we use?

PRIMED ammo mutation is MANDATORY, not vigilante, and not the base, this is the only weapon in the entire game that REQUIRES you to use the primed version.

The [Acceltra Prime] finally breaks the 100% cc barrier and now my ocd can finally rest. With crit delay we have a 6.6% chance to hit an orange crit on a given trigger pull so basically a free [Vigilante Supplies].
Keep in mind that hm can proc twice on all aoe weapons, once from direct and explosion separately, so we have a 57% chance for a slash when hitting directly as well as a 12.25% chance to apply two slash in one instance. :)

The reason why the [Acceltra] would always dive off a cliff in damage was because of its awful status scaling, fortunately the prime has actually usable status this time, so we can now use a 60/60 toxin mod and a primed cryo combo. (Can be swapped with [Rime Rounds], but 11% status is not worth the 105% damage you lose imo)

Why [Vital Sense] + [Hammer Shot]? This combos sole purpose is to conserve our ammo as much as possible, by raising our crit multi to 8.4x while hopefully reaching max viral stacks in less shots.

Why don't we use?

What about galv scope/deadhead or [Bladed Rounds]? Of course it will result in more damage, but we simply cant afford to rely on conditional effects, especially ones that require you to land perfect shots with bullets that travel slower than [Gauss] can run.

What about [Vile Acceleration]? We would practically double our damage per second, but our damage per magazine is 15% lower, any external fire rate buff with this mod makes this weapon basically useless. We skip this mod at all costs. If you want fire rate then roll a riven

Why no [Firestorm]? This requires a full explanation in itself, which i failed to include in my original guide,

It is important to note that the [Acceltra] has a very annoying ‘push away’ effect on its explosion, and mods like [Primed Firestorm] increase the radius of this dumbass mechanic which is why we don't use it. So, while [Firestorm] may increase our aoe to 6.8 meters, you are also actively PUSHING YOUR ENEMIES 6.8 METERS AWAY while using this mod.

This push away effect also applies to everyone favorite mod, [Vile Acceleration], since we generate 90% more explosions, we are pushing away enemies 90% FASTER which is no good. Thats all :)

Ive seen a lot of people eyeing Aptitude, this mod is only useful if you have an external primer, as the acceltra is half projectile, half explosion, it will give more SINGLE TARGET dps than serration when primed.
