Why Use This Build?

  • Mesa has great damage and survivability.

How to Use This Build

  • Keep abilities 1 through 3 active and use Peacemakers all you want.
  • Get 100 kills with a Primary to increase [Ceramic Dagger] Initial Combo and swap to secondary to active Secondary Outburst for additional Critical Chance and Damage.

Abilities

  • Passive - Shoot akimbo sidearms 15% faster, reload single-handed sidearms 25% faster, gain 50 Health with no melee weapon equipped.
  • Nourish - Multiplies all energy gained by 2.26x, applies Viral status to enemies when you hit them, and adds 94% damage as Viral Damage.
  • Shooting Gallery - Gives a 52% damage bonus and jams enemies' guns.
  • Shatter Shield - 95% damage reduction against ranged attacks. AoE, melee, and ability damage are not reduced.
  • Peacemaker - The main reason to use Mesa is for the damage of this ability.

Mods

  • Combat Discipline - This activates Arcane Avenger. This is the lowest rank to still fit the build without another Umbral Forma.
  • Mesa's Waltz - This allows you to roll and walk while in Peacemaker and lets the aiming range expand over time and when moving. Primed Sure Footed can be used instead.
  • Archon Continuity - This is required to use a Toxin Peacemaker build.
  • Primed Flow - This allows you to use Blind Rage more easily.
  • Umbral Intensify - Strength and makes Umbral Vitality better.
  • Umbral Vitality - Provides a significant amount of EHP and makes Umbral Intensify better.
  • Narrow Minded - More Duration. Range isn't needed for any abilities.
  • Blind Rage - Strength
  • Adaptation - This adds the extra survivability that Mesa needs at higher levels.
  • Energy Nexus - This is quite good even though you don't gain energy while Peacemaker is active. Fleeting Expertise or Streamline can be used instead.

Arcanes

  • Arcane Avenger - Flat 45% Critical Chance increase
  • Arcane Velocity - This affects Peacemakers which is a significant boost.
  • Magus Elevate - Healing
  • Magus Lockdown - Good survivability and can hold targets in place

Archon Shards

  • I recommend 2 Emerald shards for +2 Corrosion stacks each, 2 Tau Amber Parkour Velocity, and 1 Tau Azure Health Regen / Second

Focus Schools

  • Zenurik for energy

Weapons

  • Torid Incarnon to help against nullifiers and quickly build up 100 kills.
  • Anything with Secondary Outburst in the Arcane slot. Gaze or Nukor are good options to break Nullifiers too.
  • Ceramic Dagger Incarnon - Evolutions should be +1 combo per Primary kill up to 100x and +20 Initial Combo. Equip Covert Lethality and Corrupt Charge for more Initial Combo. Motus Impact is another good inclusion for utility.
