The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

mipha statue zelda breath of the wild

First 4 Figures has unveiled another PVC collectible in its Zelda: Breath of the Wild line, with a new Mipha statue in production.

The statue is inspired by her official artwork on the game. “Mipha stands in a gentle pose with her hand gently pressed upon her chest; her other hand wielding the Lightscale Trident,” First 4 Figures says. The product being sold through the company’s website has bright LED functions for the base.

Here’s a rundown of everything that’s included in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – Mipha (Exclusive Edition):

turning red zelda earthbound pokemon

Domee Shi, the director of Pixar / Disney’s Turning Red movie, was able to find some inspiration from some notable Nintendo games like Pokemon.

Growing up, she played Pokemon and Zelda on devices such as the Game Boy Color and DS Lite. Shi was limited to handheld systems as her parents didn’t exactly approve of her hobby. But since they were portable, she could continue playing games by hiding them under her pillow longer than her parents allowed.

Since its launch in 2017, everyone expected The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild to be influential in the gaming industry. The title received a rare level of praise and brought a new life to the “open-world” genre.

Breath of the Wild is almost five years old and we can already witness how it has influenced some games in different ways. In today’s video, I try to pinpoint the new things that the title brought to the table and how it inspired other developers. You can check the video down below.

Hylian Shield statue

First 4 Figures has revealed a special Hylian Shield statue from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which is the company’s latest PVC collectible following the likes of Link, Zelda and Revali. True to the design in the actual game, it has a blue front with silver borders, the Triforce symbol, and Hyrule’s crest.

Each order comes with the statue, magnetic display stand, authentication card, and limited edition numbering. It’s also worth noting that the “Exclusive Edition” adds a premium deluxe box and features LED functionality “beneath the gold rivet details of the stand, giving the shield an even more majestic look”.

I know I’m very late here, but I finally finished The Champions’ Ballad DLC for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild not too long ago. And to be honest, I found it to be a very satisfying ending to the title’s Expansion Pass. A lot of the elements from the base game were taken to another level and playing it so many years after the release of the original game made me remember why Breath of the Wild is so good.

In today’s video, I share my opinions about the DLC and I also discuss how some elements that could be a good direction for the already announced Zelda: Breath of the Wild sequel. You can check the video down below.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has a unique chest that most players won’t be able to open. Located in the Aris Beach area of the map, it’s placed deep underwater. Making it more troublesome to open is that it only appears if you get within 60 meters of it and will begin to sink immediately. In fact, it disappears entirely after just seven seconds.

No one has been able to open this chest – until now. YouTuber Kleric managed to recover it after working on theories for about a month.

Here’s a look at how it all went down:
