The Wonder Seed is a collectable item that appears in Super Mario Bros. Wonder.
Overview[]
They are half-opened seeds containing a blue orb with eyes and a leaf stem. They are used to decipate Piranha Plant infested courses to enter. A specific amount of Wonder Seeds are required to unlock new levels, and cannot be used universally.
Players will be able to collect Wonder Seeds by completing levels, performing mid-level tasks, and beating bonus levels. When entering a new world, a Poplin will give the player a Wonder Seed. They can also be purchased once per world.
They are often found during the Wonder Flower effects, and collecting the Seeds would end the effects.
There is a larger variant, the Royal Seed, collected at the end of each world.
