I’ve suggested translations for below themes and would like to have them reviewed. I’d also like to become a PTEProject Translation Editor A Project Translation Editor (often referred to as PTE) is a person, who has access to validate strings on a specific project (for example BuddyPress, WooCommerce or Twenty Fourteen) for one specific locale. A project translation editor can approve strings that are added by translation contributors. IF you’re sourcing your translations from professional translators, then you might look into the CLPTECross-locale Project Translation Editor A Cross-Locale Project Translation Editor is an account owned by a plugin or theme author (or the authoring organization), which uses professional translators to localize their product. The cross-locale project translation editor can import/validate strings on a specific project for more than one locale. This role has the same capabilities as a Project Translation Editor over multiple locales instead of one. I checked the quality of the Chinese translation, and it’s acceptable. But we need to remind you to be responsible for your own project and not use unchecked machine translations.

Fortunate nowadays Google and other translation systems provide goog quality translations to be generally considered acceptable, at least for Russian. But they still cant provide consistency between stringsString A string is a translatable part of the software. A translation consists of a multitude of localized strings. and respect to glossary terms.

The translations have not been reviewed by our Polyglot team, but I took a quick look at them.

There are some errors and some translations do not follow the rules set by the German Polyglot team. The German language has 2 branches: The formal form of address (Sie) and the informal (default) form of address (du). There are translations that are in the wrong branch (Sie instead of du). You also need to check our Glossary in detail.

You should all follow these steps (either YOU, the Dev, or the Translator):

Per project translation, editors are appointed by a general translation editor after a request by the project author or by the contributors themselves., such as to be an Italian native speaker and follow an 1:1 chat with an expert Italian translator.
