🚀💻 Harnessing Predictive Maintenance with Amazon at Downstream Solutions Digital & AI Days! We are thrilled to share an insightful demonstration by Amazon on predictive maintenance using Monitron, directly applicable to our operations at ArcelorMittal. Monitron is a sensor that measures vibration and temperature, and it’s incredibly easy to install—even on our oldest machines. Simply glue the sensor on, and it’s ready to go. Here is how it works: 1. After installation, Monitron uses machine learning to monitor the machine for two weeks, establishing baseline measurements to understand the machine’s perfect working condition. 📊 2. Once the baseline is set, Monitron begins its magic. If it detects unusual activity, such as increasing vibrations, it sends alerts. This predictive capability is crucial because potential issues are identified before they cause a machine breakdown. 🚨 By using a sensor, we can address problems before they stop our production line, ensuring no unplanned downtime and no loss of revenue. This innovative solution is a game-changer for maintaining continuous and efficient operations in our factories.
