How can entrepreneurs use data to evaluate their business performance?
As entrepreneurs, we always have more to do than there is time to get it all done. So, a personal strategy for staying focused is essential. Here’s mine. Everyday (well almost), I ask myself the following questions: 1. If there was just one thing I could spend all of my time and energy on, what would it be and why? 2. If I could only work on one thing today, what's the most important thing I could focus on? 3. If I could achieve just one objective this month what would it be? 4. Do the things I'm most focused on align with my values and the vision I have for my company? 5. What's preventing me from staying focused on the things that matter most? There's no one-size-fits-all strategy for staying focused. But this works for me.

How can Thought Leaders stay relevant in a rapidly changing industry?
The older I get the more I learn how little I know. But, I’ve also grown more excited about all there is to learn for the same reason. Our capacity for learning far exceeds our time constraints, and the relatively short time we get to experience life. So be curious about everything, always be dabbling, and keep your mind open. It’s not about knowing it all. It’s about becoming better versions of ourselves, hopefully helping others along the way, and enjoying the process.

How can Thought Leaders develop a growth mindset to enhance their career?
There are three things I’m sure of. I’m alive today, someday I won’t be, and I don’t know how long I have. I try to remind myself of that every day. It forces me to consider what truly matters most (to me). When I do this, everything else becomes trivial. What people might be saying about me, what’s buzzing online (or offline) - it’s not important. It’s a distraction that just steals the limited time and attention I have. So, I choose to decide what’s truly important to me and what I’ll let influence my mindset. That’s not something I’m willing to delegate.

How can thought leaders balance their professional and personal goals?
If your professional life feels like “work” most of the time. The best advice I could give is to consider a change. Finding a balance between your professional life and personal life is a whole lot easier when they feel like one in the same. Love what you do. Make it personal, and you’ll almost forget it’s work. Make your mission to spend more and more time doing the things that matter most to you, and the balance will come naturally.
