The Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (“POPIA”) commenced on 1 July 2020 and all Responsible parties will have one year to ensure that all their processing confirms to POPIA.
All internal departments can submit their POPIA queries to legalservices@ukzn.ac.za for allocation and review by a Legal Advisor / Compliance Office
