Hello, I will be doing a domain transfer in the next few days. My question is: I can't keep the old offline until this migration. I can activate the 30-day trial on the new domain, for the configuration and customization of our forum, and then transfer my license that is active on the domain that will be deactivated. If this is not possible, I need guidance on how to proceed, because my license is very old, I pay a nice price and we would not be able to make a new subscription, even because the other domain will be deactivated. I await guidance

Hello, I'm working on a mayor redesign and migration for my website. I think I'll start a my community again on a subdomain, is it possible that I can do a fresh install without deleting my current community forums while I'm working on this? I think I'm about 1 month from have this ready so during that time, I'll have both versions live. I'll keep my current domain name so there's no change on my current domain name. Can I do that? Hey Invision Community, This is probably rather unorthodox but I need to ask for a potential business partner in what they want to do a "cloud security assessment" of the site -- in this I am asked for a C4 Model of the site which I am hosting with Invision Cloud. For changing friendly URL’s from clubs to committees, is it just a case of updating the friendly URL and that is it, the real URL just stays the same? Or would I change both? Are there any issues with this IE breaks in the site. The plan is to change the word club in the URL to committees across the site. I am not worried about SEO as its a fully private site.

I recently upgraded from 4.7.13 to 4.7.14 and soon after my server began sending me "Excessive Resource" warnings--a couple of dozen per day, which the task exceeds 600MB. I know I can change the memory level on my server to a higher warning level to stop receiving them, but before doing so I wanted to mention this, and ask what with the recent update my cause this sudden change? Some of the warnings are also about excessive time to complete the process. Has anyone else noticed this?

I want to create a community with a homepage that opens Invision Forums. My home page should display information about the site and links to my Invision forums. Is this possible? Hi all, I can find no information about this at Invision. As I work through contacting old members, according to when they were last active, the bounce rate - of course - slowly increases year-by-year. I am still well below 1%, but what is the point where where I will encounter problems with Invision? Similarly, at what point (trickier to estimate, I expect) am I likely to experience problems with email providers? I've been sending out email over the past couple of weeks - there are no apparent problems with domain reputation so far.

Hello Invision Community, I'm encountering an issue with my permissions on the Marketplace, and I hope someone can help me resolve it. Despite being a paying member, I am unable to download any plugins. This situation is quite perplexing, as my subscription should grant me access to these downloads. Hi everyone I am attempting to remove members who are in particular main group and haven't been active for some period of time. The issue is that search function is giving me results where the group is secondary group which is unwanted. To clarify, say you have a members that are either: main group A secondary group B or main group - B secondary group - none Seems it is not possible to filter to find only members which have main group B and ignore secondary group in results? Doing this by hand is not an option (over 50000 members) Is there particular plugin / addon to achieve this? Running v4.7.16 here Thanks

Background: So today I had a member say he cannot find another member, and wonders if this is due to being on that member's Ignore list. I haven't asked for the name of the member yet, but I was wondering about the Ignore function: Questions: 1) If A puts B on his ignore list, A can no longer read B's posts, but I assume B can still read A's posts? 2) Is it possible to see for a particular member whether anyone is ignoring him/her? Hello, I'm about to set up subscriptions for my site. When a member's subscription renewal date comes up, I assume that the invoice goes out before the expiry date, and that any automatic payment does too - is this a few days before? Can I adjust this? The reason I ask is because the member payment triggers an update of a membership card. If the card expires before payment it causes some problems. Thanks Simon
