At Carr Communications we’ve trained thousands of people for big moments in their careers and after seeing last night’s #BidenTrump debate, well, they could have done with our help. 🤔 Here are four key areas of analysis from last night. (OK, let's be honest, there was LOTS to unpack in that debate but that's for another day.) 👇 1. Clarity of messaging is key – but delivery is how you unlock engagement. Know how to make your point firmly, but briefly, to capitalise on your audience’s retention ability. ✅ 2. Know your audience and adjust your style of delivery for the audience in mind. Even if you are delivering the same information, different groups will be receptive to it in different ways. ✅ 3. Know your engagement persona. Have adjectives in mind for how you would like your audience to perceive every element of your delivery and adjust your preparation accordingly to convey them. ✅ 4. Know when to listen.
