PPF CZ is proud to announce their support for the Development of Felinotherapy this year, in collaboration with the organization Kočky Praha. Felinotherapy is a therapeutic method involving interaction with cats. Contact with a cat can contribute to the treatment of many diseases, including depression, Alzheimer's disease, ADHD, multiple sclerosis, cardiovascular disease and autism. Feline-assisted therapy may be conducted in nursing homes, prisons, hospices, hospitals, kindergartens and schools.  The initiative includes training new felinotherapists to bridge the gap between theory and practice, ensuring the expansion and positive impact of this therapy. We are proud to support noble causes and make a positive impact on the lives of people and pets.  Over the past 6 months, our Polish Team in Białystok has collected 43 kilograms of bottle tops for the rehabilitation of Max, a little boy diagnosed with Down syndrome. The bottle tops were handed over to the parents of Max, who will receive money in return of the caps. In Kalisz, our other Polish team members have made a significant contribution to local dog shelters by donating 16,800 cans of Puffi dog food while they gave food donations to local cat shelters as well. These acts of kindness come from the bottom of our hearts and are tremendous opportunities for us to make tomorrow’s world a better place to live in for people and pets. #charity #actsofkindness #noblecause #ppf #partnerinpetfood  

We are proud of our people and the work they do. Last June, our Ittervoort and Kalisz factories opened their doors to communities and families, it was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate and show what makes our company special. At our Ittervoort factory, an open day welcomed both employees’ families and the general public. Visitors toured the facility, gaining insight into our operations. This initiative emphasized our commitment to transparency and building stronger community relationships. Meanwhile, our Kalisz factory hosted a children’s picnic, allowing kids to see where their parents work. We are delighted to share the exciting news that Partner in Pet Food is welcoming a new majority shareholder. Cinven has agreed to sell a majority stake in the business to CVC Capital Partners, and will retain a minority stake. We all look forward to partnering with both CVC and Cinven to deliver our ambitious future growth plans.

Last year, we embarked on an exciting distance-based move challenge. It was a true global effort, with over 250 enthusiastic participants joining in from the 10 European countries we are present in. Together, we covered more than 60,000 kilometers by cycling, running and walking 💪    This year, we’re taking our challenge to the next level by combining our passion for fitness with our love for animals. 🐱🐶 We are proud that in our 2024 Move Challenge, for every kilometer we collectively cover, we will donate to Greater Good Charities. The more distance we reach, the more we can support and protect animals in need. 🙌    Greater Good Charities works to help pets, people and the planet by mobilizing in response to need and amplifying the good. To date, they have invested in excess of €700 million in cash grants, in-kind supplies, and direct programmatic support to over 10,000 communities across 120 countries.     Since the onset of the conflict in Ukraine, Greater Good Charities has been a steadfast presence on the ground, providing vital aid to vulnerable communities. To date, their efforts have encompassed delivering 32 million meals to pets across the nation, offering them warm shelters for the harsh winters, and ensuring access to high-quality spay and neuter services.    For the owners and caregivers of these pets, Greater Good Charities has provided over 11 million hot meals, winter relief kits, hygiene packs, and access to clean water.
