Chucky: Ultimate Kill Count (Hollywood) was one of the eight haunted houses that were featured during Halloween Horror Nights 2023 (Hollywood). It was located in Curious George Tent 1.

History[]

On October 31st, 2022, Universal announced that Chucky would be coming to Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood as a haunted house for that year's Halloween Horror Nights events, The house would be original ip based on the character.

Despite being on much of the merchandise for 2021 and 2022, this would be the first time Chucky returned to Halloween Horror Nights Hollywood since Halloween Horror Nights 2019's 80s Throwback Thursdays. This would also make history as the earliest haunted house announcement in HHN history.

On July 28th, 2023, Universal Studios Hollywood would reannounce the haunted house with a new title Chucky: Ultimate Kill Count. It would also be announced that the house would be an original take on the IP.

Chucky, the serial killer doll, is back for a new gorefest! He’s hijacked his own haunted house with all kinds of bloody hijinks. You and your friends must try to survive his ultimate kill count.

Queue and Facade[]

The facade of the house was stacked Good Guy doll boxes including a few video screens where Chucky would addres guests in line, in telling them exactly what his plans are for them once they enter.

Haunted House[]

Guests enter the house and walk down a stone brick wall hallway and through curtains and another curtain after that as they enter in a hallway of Good Guy Doll boxes, Chucky can be seen above one with knife in hand leaning and trying to swipe as guests as they continue forward as another above on their left can be seen breaking out as a distraction as guests are attacked by an employee who's eyes are budging out of their skull out of a red curtain and back as guests make a right a victim who's hung on the stone wall wearing a Halloween Horror Nights 2023 grey sweat shirt with nails in their face on their right as exit straight to the next room.

Guests enter the next room where a hole in the wall in front as the word Home created in tinfoil as on their right a portrait of Chucky can be seen guests continue to walk forward as they make a left a tv can be seen with Chucky next to a kill count where he tallies the count to 2 as he begins to laugh and tv statics as guests turn right and enter the next room.

Guest enter the next room where it appears that Chucky has invaded a home with portraits of he and his family adorn the room, he can be seen on a couch on their right, a body can be seen on the floor with little flames in certain spots of the room as guests continue on their left they can see two dead bodies on a stair case and Chucky ontop of the victim above stabbing him repeatedly laughing as guests as more little spots of flames can be seen on the staircase as guests leave the room.

Guests enter the next room which Kitchen where a lot of victims can be seen at the kitchen table and another who had fallen on a collection of knives in a open dishwater while Chucky can be seen on the kitchen counter with a electric knife running out of a drawer on their left as guests leave the room.

Guests enter a bathroom where on their right Chucky and Tiffany can be seen with the former body of Tiffany Valentine after dying from a tv hitting the bathtub as guests continue to exit out of the room.

Guests enter a hallway where make a left right and straight as they can see Lord Spookula sitting on a floor leaning against the room as he was murdered by Chucky as guests make a left down another hall and exit through a curtain.

Guests enter the next room where Chucky can be seen spitting on electrical cords while Lucas Wheeler is being electrocuted by the circuit breaker on the right of guests as they exit to the next room.

Guests enter the next yellow, red and blue colored room where a box hole in the wall can be seen with HOSPITAL show on a black background can be seen as they make a right and see another tv screen with Chucky taunting guests as his kill count continues to rise as they exit through a curtain and a hall to another curtain.

Guests enter a hospital room where Chucky can be seen on a hospital bed with a burned victim trying to escape on their left as they continue forward a bio hazard dumpster where Chucky is trying to get out while having syringes sticking out of him as guests leave the room.

Guests enter a Christmas themed Hallway as turn right and see CHRISTMAS in holiday colors and wrapping and they continue to make a left and another left around the corner to the next room while a tv on their right Chucky tells guests to get in the Christmas spirit emojis on a counter appear and passing by the tv a gruesome holiday card as guests go through the curtain to the next room.

Guests enter the next room which a Christmas decorated room as they make a right on their left sitting on the couch Glen can be sitting on the couch in front a table with a knife and letter alongside some cookies and milk as guests turn their right where Chucky wearing a Christmas hat sprints as guests with his little chainsaw as there are two dead bodies on the ground on the right of guests as they continue forward and exit the room.

Guests enter the next room which is a dining room that has some portraits of Chucky and Lexy Cross chainsaws Chucky at the end of the table on the left of guests as they walk pass and exit the room.

Guests enter another hallway where a tv on the wall can be seen where Chucky lets guests in the know that they are being brought to their final death that at his hands as they walk pass the tv and exit the room.

Guests enter into a forest where Chucky heads alongside Tiffanys can be seen staked on a sticks on the right as they continue moving forward three variations of Chucky can be seen sprinting with weapons in their at guests on their left as they walk pass move heads of Chucky can be see staked on sticks on their left as they continue a 3ft Chucky puppet comes sprinting at guests as they move forward next to a tombstone where Chucky pops up from behind with a detonator as guests exit the room into a dark hallway and another with Chucky taunting voiceover as they exit the house.

According to this, John Murdy was watching something being installed and tested for the house. They didn't think it would have worked but actually did in their favor.
According to this, Murdy would say that a vlogger known as Lord Spookula is dead warned not post somethings and accidentally died by a nail gun at the hands of Chucky.

This is Chucky's first ever haunted house despite being added to previous mazes in the past with Chucky's Funhouse during Halloween Horror Nights 2009 (Hollywood).

Tiffany's bathtub execution from The Bride of Chucky (1998) is referenced in the house.
