@sudar thanks very much for the truly rapid response :)

Anticipating this feature being added sometime soonish, we'll go ahead and start working with the plugin. Also, ...if its practical, in case of multiple networks would love to have option at primary-network admin interface [blog id 1, site id 1] to also see emails from all networks, (and to be able to easily produce one consolidated export w/ the addon?). Cheers!

That's a good suggestion. Will try to add support it as well.

hey @sudar hope this is going along ok 😃 ...had seen y'all making what seemed like network related updates in last few weeks, wanted to check in, also wanted to clarify what this issue means to me in context of my use case: For my multi-network, I use a solution that connects via SMTP relay all subsites to use a third-party service to send WP transactional email. Some networks and subsites have set different third-party provider while most use the default provided service.

To me "see emails from all subsites[/networks]" is about making sure that I'm aware if a subsite is unable to send email so that I can timely respond and correct if possible...

So, point being, while for a given network I definitely want to see a log of emails sent by that network itself (eg. new subsite reg), for all the subsites of that network, would likely be enough to have a relatively lean network admin panel like 'Sites Email Status/Report' showing red/green indicators (eg. if a subsite's emails are logged as repeatedly failing, then network admin panel shows red for that subsite and perhaps handy link like go directly to subsite admin email-log panel to investigate).

And at the hypothetical network admin panel of the primary network: basically just next-level it... still include a log of the emails sent by the primary network itself and the 'Sites Email Status/Report' panel showing red/green for the primary network's subsites as for any other network ---> then, it'd be awesome to have an additional panel like 'Networks Email Status/Report' showing red/green indicators for the various networks (eg. network reports 'red' if any of its subsites are reporting 'red' --> perhaps a link provided to the reporting network's own network admin level panel to identify specific subsite, view further details).

...the further network feature (pro addon?) that I've thought of that seems like it would make a compelling reason to use email-log is probably best proposed as separate github issue, but I thought I'd mention it here in case you really just are not a fan 😉 and because I see it as extending from the stuff I've written above:

Since my primary network admin goal is timely response & correction: an email (sms?!) notification to my specified 'alert' address so that response doesn't wait until a network admin notices the admin panel indicator (or a client contacts support...) ---> even further, eg. if all mail sent via WP is failing...: ability to set up alternative SMTP/API connection for network admin email-log notifications to be mailed via php (or?)

Cheers, Max
